The Art of Equine Photography: A Four-Part Creative Journey
Experience the beauty, connection, and magic of horses through your lens.
Whether you're a budding photographer or a seasoned creative looking for a unique subject, this immersive equine photography series will transform the way you see and photograph horses. Set on a peaceful farm surrounded by natural beauty, each two-hour, hands-on class is designed to help you build confidence, develop your creative voice, and walk away with stunning, portfolio-worthy images.
Why You Need This Series
Horses are more than animals—they’re expressive, powerful, and deeply connected to their environment and to us. Photographing them isn’t just about clicking the shutter at the right time—it’s about capturing emotion, movement, light, and soul. In this four-part series, you’ll gain the tools and experience to do just that.
Each class is held outdoors during golden hour when the light is most magical. You'll be guided every step of the way with hands-on coaching, access to beautifully diverse horses, and curated scenes that bring your creativity to life.
What You’ll Learn
1. Wild & Free: Capturing Horses in Nature
Learn to compose breathtaking images of horses in open pastures, wooded trails, and natural light. You’ll discover how to use landscapes and lighting to bring a sense of place and mood to your images.
2. The Bond: Photographing Horses & Humans
Explore the emotional connection between horses and people. Learn to direct candid, authentic moments that tell a story—and how to frame those moments to capture their intimacy and beauty.
3. Mystical Equines: Creating Dreamlike Horse Photography
Use golden hour, motion, and natural elements like wind, light, and shadow to create ethereal, magical imagery. We’ll experiment with creative angles and techniques to evoke wonder and mood. We will incorporate our unicorn as well for some magical photos.
4. From Camera to Canvas: Editing & Sharing Equine Photography
